We love the Indigo Inn. While traveling to Charleston while my daughter attended school there, it’s become my little home away from home. Several times we’ve arrived well before check in after an 18 hour drive from Massachusetts – they have always made an effort to get us in our room early. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but still nice to come home at night to turned down beds and chocolate on the pillow! Despite being located in a busy part of Charleston, the Inn is very quiet as the windows face an interior courtyard rather than the street. The courtyard is a great place to hang out and relax. This is especially nice when traveling with family, having more than just a room to be in. Only once in four years did I book too late and had to stay elsewhere – which was such a letdown compared with the Indigo. The breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese is a nice perk. I’ve stayed there several times a year for four years and would not hesitate to go back. Parking is in site as well – very convenient. I highly recommend!
